Description
A love story of two Black teenagers whose complexions stir conflicts in their communities. Faith, a dark-skinned girl from a middle-class light-skinned family, and Kimba, a biracial teen who appears white, grow up in Detroit’s projects.
They find solace in each other, planning to stay together forever. However, one tragic night separates them, leading Faith to believe Kimba is dead, while he thinks she abandoned him. Ten years later, they unknowingly return to Detroit on the same weekend for different events, breaking their vows never to return.
